： 这个不好说为什么.不管是形容词还是副词都是downstairs,名词也是它,而且没有downstair这个词,词典上就是这个样子.也许是因为楼梯(stairs)是有多个stair(梯步)组成的缘故吧. 楼梯的正常单词是stairs,也可以用stair(主要是用在文学中).一个梯步是stair. 哈!奇怪的很,查我手头的词典,老外编的词典包括朗曼和牛津,都没有downstair这个词.但是国内的英汉词典还包括香港出的一本《牛津高级英语双解词典》却有downstair作形容词.
