It在这里也是做形式主语. doing 是真正主语. 无论to do sth 还是doing sth做主语,都属于非谓语动词用法.非谓语动词用法简单说就是一个句子不可以出现两个谓语,is是句子的谓语,那么另外一个动词就要用非谓语形式,非谓语形式包括不定式,V-ed,V-ing三种形式. 非谓语动词是高中英语的一个重难点,要细看语法书,多做练习才行.
