　　就我本人的实际经验而言，大体要做好如下几个方面的工作：
　　1、多看看相关的文件、书籍和报纸——实话说，真正的公文写作高手总是很认真地看日报上你平常只看标题或者连标题都不看的那一版的内容的，而且他们收集的剪报资料厚度你绝对想象不到。具体可参考的资料大约如下3类：人民日报等党报党刊——了解权威表达方式、政策动向和时政要闻；《半月谈》等权威时政分析类刊物——帮助你深入理解政策制定的背景、依据，剖析当前热点难点问题；以及以下2中将要提到的上级文件。
　　2、如果你是准备靠写公文吃饭，那么应该多借阅一下你单位此前的各类公文、你单位上级机关近期的发文以及领导近期的讲话，注意最近业务范围内都在讲什么？是怎样表述的？有没有固定格式或者固定的表述方式？要知道即使你文采再好，只是用了一个外行的语言组织方式，那么你的上级依然会认为你很菜。
　　如果你是准备公考之类的考试，那么你还是到网上公考相关的网站搜一下吧——考试跟实际公文写作还是有区别的，有很多技巧性的规律，多看看就行。
　　3、多请教现在（或者以前）干这项工作的人。其实，公文写作更重要的是思路，不是技巧。公文不是炫耀文采的作品。写好了多请别人给改，别怕麻烦和丢面子——提高公文写作水平不是一朝一夕之功，老秘书都是改出来的！
　　4、别太在意别人的表扬和批评。这不是说不重视别人的意见——别人给指出有待改进之处应该高兴，道理上一条已经说了——而是指心理上不要对外界评价过于敏感！要知道：公文的首要属性是它的应用性，也就是说，你写的这篇稿子就是用来被上级、领导、下级、群众不断品评和指摘的！而阅读对象每一个人的能力水平、知识水平和语言组织习惯都不一样，一篇稿子此领导曰甚好、彼领导曰一般的情况很常见。——但是不断提高自己的能力和水平确是必须的！
　　5、不必要太重视公文格式。我们现行的两个体系、几十种公文格式分类你永远也搞不清楚——真的。对于公文格式，你只要从你单位常用的那几种开始，保证不出错就行——最简单的方式就是照着原来的文件来，他怎样你就怎样。熟悉了以后就明白，尽管可能各类公文格式永远也分不清，但往往一猜就准。呵呵

一是要注重学习。首先要向富有写作经验的老领导学习。比如我之前的办公室主任是位老笔杆子，从部队转业到地方写过的材料可以说要用麻袋装了。凡他写的材料领导一般一个标点不动。每次写完材料，我都是毕恭毕敬请他提意见，他也非常热心，有时直接修改。

二是要领会意图。在写领导讲话时，首先要吃透精神，即领导讲话的中心内容。领导交待时光听不行，一定要用笔记下来，才不致于写偏。其次要承前启后。同一内容的讲话稿既要看从前，又要关照到下一步发展，做到内容上的连贯。其三要紧扣当前单位工作重点，有助于指导和推动系统全面工作。其四要关照领导口味。有位领导喜欢结尾用三两句诗意的句子，既显得有水平，又有鼓动性，我就想方设法请来这些这样的诗句。花这样心思写出的稿子领导基本满意。

三是要严格筛选。百度搜索想要撰写的材料内容很多，这给文秘人员既提供了方便，也出了难题。方便的一些紧急的、不太重要的材料可以节省时间，快速完稿。难题的是很多文稿有一定局限，不能形成完整的材料，甚至固化了写作者的思维。

特别是一些重要会议，关系全局性的工作，材料形成后有一定的连续性，同一个关键词往往需要搜索10条甚至20条以上，经过严格筛选后，才能综合不重复、有新意的材料内容。尽管有些费事，仍然比苦思冥想来得快，且不会存在炒现饭的嫌疑。公文写作黙黙无闻，而且枯燥无味的确很辛苦，没有一个固定的成功模式。但要相信，一旦做成了笔杆子，离仕途也就不远了。不知我写材料的体会对你是否有所帮助？

3、逻辑性强：公文的正文应该按照重要性和发生顺序排列，避免打乱时间顺序，导致读者难以理解。
