传统鼠笼是用铁丝为基本原料，经手工编织而成，是典型的拉动诱饵式结构。这种“经典”的精简结构虽经历上千年，却依然未有过大的改动。 从外表看来鼠笼只有“开”和“关”两个动作互相轮换，即笼门张开（处于等待老鼠进入状态）；笼门关闭（擒获并困住老鼠）。其实从力学观点来看，鼠笼的工作原理是两种平衡的相互转换过程。从支上机关后笼门张开的不稳定平衡，过渡到笼门关闭的稳定平衡。其后一种是不被机关控制、自然状态下的稳定平衡，前一种是支起机关后建立起的受制于机关的不稳定平衡，该不稳定平衡极易被其它外力破坏——以老鼠轻微的拉动力，就能恢复其稳定平衡，使笼门关闭。 许多家庭，为了安全和避免鼠尸污染，选择传统鼠笼捕鼠。但他们经常为其捕鼠率不够理想而烦恼：老鼠不愿进笼；诱饵被吃光，却捕不到鼠；或捕到后又逃跑了。 经分析和解剖,传统鼠笼捕鼠过程有4个动作：①老鼠进笼；②吃诱饵；③向前拉诱饵钩并启动机关；④笼门关闭、困住老鼠。即老鼠入笼后要它按设计人的愿望，在吃诱饵时，向笼门所在的前方拉动诱饵钩并启动机关——完成捕鼠过程的全部4个动作后才能捕鼠。本来，引诱老鼠入笼就不易，入笼后还要它只向前拉钩就更困难。如果老鼠小心翼翼吃诱饵、不拉诱饵钩，或老鼠不向前拉，而是“错误”地向左、右、或后方拉，就不能引发、启动机关关闭笼门和捕鼠。这都是传统鼠笼捕鼠率低的重要原因。 看来，用传统鼠笼捕鼠，首先要使老鼠敢于入笼、乐意入笼；其次，需要老鼠按人的愿望完成上述特定的程序，要老鼠在吃诱饵时“正确”地向前方拉诱饵钩。如果老鼠执行的程序不合要求、“犯错误”——不向前方拉，就捕不到鼠。显然，传统鼠笼捕鼠时程序、动作太多，又容易“犯错误”。要提高捕鼠率，就应减少动作，建立一种老鼠不容易“犯错误”的新程序。 用传统鼠笼捕鼠还要求鼠笼达到一定的制作水准, 排除影响老鼠入笼的因素；排除一切老鼠逃脱的因素，才能捕到鼠。 传统鼠笼的制作方法较原始，零部件的精度不够；孔眼是人工编织的、误差大；凹凸不平的笼底、不易平贴地放置在水平的平面上；有的笼子当老鼠进入后还会摇晃、使其产生恐惧感；或进笼的通道不够平坦、不够通畅、有障碍物等，都会使老鼠不敢轻易进入。 就是说，传统鼠笼制作工艺较粗放、关门构件不够精确、性能不够稳定、易发生故障、孔眼大小不一、个别网眼太大等，都易造成诱饵被吃光却捕不到鼠或捕到鼠后又逃脱。 家鼠是“智商”较高的动物，被擒后更是千方百计地想逃离，粗壮的甚至咬断铁丝、挤破笼子逃走。为此，鼠笼应结构紧凑、无故障，零部件有足够的精度，孔眼大小应相当统一，才能捕到鼠。如果不进行改革，就无法改变消费者心中“器械捕鼠难”这一错误观点。 各种家鼠和农田害鼠是必需而紧缺的实验动物，科研人员和灭鼠工作者都希望容易捕捉活鼠的捕鼠器早日诞生；鼠笼又是家庭、宾馆、食品厂等地灭鼠的首选器具。为了满足不同层次人群的需求，设计出容易捕捉活鼠的任务，历史地落到了现代捕鼠工作者的肩上。 针对传统鼠笼的不足，早就有人进行设计新型捕鼠笼的工作。上世纪80年代有人在研究和分析历代民间各类捕鼠器的基础上，进行设计、制作较完美捕鼠器的工作；近年来他们还检索了自1985年以来获专利的几百种捕鼠器发明。但研究者发现，大部分发明家不了解老鼠的行为、生活规律和习性，凭主观愿望、以闭门造车的方式进行设计，使许多发明不切合实际，尽管构思非常巧妙，但在实际中行不通：有些发明，老鼠很难按设计者一厢情愿的要求，“执行”特定的捕鼠程序；有些灵敏度差，难以捕到鼠；有些是能充分表现发明家智慧、画蛇添足的发明，虽然能捕到鼠，但结构太复杂、造价太高。如果把这些不切实际的发明勉强开发，就会造成捕不到鼠或售价太高，而陷入无人问津或少人问津的困境。 捕鼠是需要千百万人参加的事业，捕鼠器一定要结构精巧、坚固耐用、性能可靠、价廉物美、户户买得起、人人会使用。其实，设计出捕鼠率高、使用方法简便，对人畜安全，适合不同环境使用，不需能源，不伤鼠体——只要老鼠进入、即被捕获的捕鼠笼是人们多年的愿望。 每只老鼠都有重量。把捕鼠笼由拉动诱饵式改为踏板式，是设计上的重大进步，它使捕鼠程序由4动作，减少为3动作：①老鼠进笼；②老鼠企图吃诱饵时必先触动踏板并启动机关；③笼门关闭、困住老鼠。把传统鼠笼捕鼠程序由容易“犯错误”的4动作减少为不易“犯错误”的3动作，虽只减少一个动作，却带来质的飞跃，使捕鼠率大大提高——实现了老鼠入笼、即被擒获的目的。 其实，面对踏板式捕鼠笼多种设计方案，应优先考虑由传统鼠笼经改进的高灵敏踏板式捕鼠笼。因为传统鼠笼有广泛群众基础、普及率较高。经改进的高灵敏踏板式捕鼠笼与传统鼠笼的使用方法极相似，推广产品时，客户容易掌握使用方法，减轻了新产品投放市场后繁琐的讲解工作。经对比，它还是各种踏板式捕鼠笼发明中结构最简明、优点最多、造价最低廉的产品。 为了制作出性能更好的捕鼠笼，生产部门应该针对传统鼠笼的不足狠下工夫，使新鼠笼成为造型精美、性能优越、精锐实用、网眼整齐、笼底平坦、老鼠乐意进入的优秀产品。为产品定下严酷的质量要求： 一为了使老鼠乐意进入、能平贴地放置于水平的平面上，应克服因笼底是空间四边形、难以放穏、老鼠进入后因笼子晃动而退走的弊病。笼底纱网应十分平坦，在笼门前、笼口、笼底处不得有任何影响老鼠进入的障碍物。使笼底的前方、老鼠入口处高度应低于4.5mm； 二为了使最小型老鼠也无法逃遁，对笼身孔眼的要求必须严格，应选用网眼整齐划一、不易生锈、网眼小于8mm的镀锌电焊网制作； 三提高零部件的精度，产品表面和转角处应光滑、无毛刺。对可活动部分的零部件，要求连接处既牢固又灵活。关门弹簧的弹力宜小、使产品成为极安全的环保产品； 四踏板应足够灵敏，不论大小老鼠只要进入后触及它，笼门即刻关下并下锁。门锁应既灵敏又牢固，使被捕的老鼠决无法逃脱； 五提高生产率，尽量多应用现代工艺进行生产，使产品价廉物美、经久耐用。 为了适合各种不同层次人群的需求，还应设计各种不同性能的鼠笼： 一为方便科研人员做实验和诱骗更多老鼠之用，应增设笼门张开后，可随时改变鼠笼性能的新产品。使鼠笼可随时成为捕捉鼠笼；又可随意变成诱捕鼠笼。即：①当笼门张开、放上诱饵，不支机关时，鼠笼就处于老鼠可以随时自由出入、放心吃诱饵、安全离开的诱捕状态——诱捕鼠笼；②当笼门张开、放上诱饵、支上机关时、鼠笼就处于老鼠只要入笼，笼门即刻关闭并下锁的高戒备状态——捕捉鼠笼。 二研制出捕到鼠后，即使笼子被打翻或倒转，老鼠也无法逃脱的产品，满足野外或养宠物家庭捕鼠之需。 三研制更具欺骗性、使对“新物反应”强烈的“鼠王”也容易上当受骗的双门式捕鼠笼。 四为了科研人员方便利用活鼠，增设可按人的意志随时转移或集中老鼠等功能的捕鼠笼。 制作性能优越的捕鼠器是发展器械捕鼠的核心所在，它也为探索老鼠王国的秘密做好了技术准备。在捕鼠技术还未取得新突破、在目前的科技水平下，踏板式捕鼠器还是捕活鼠的较理想产品。看来，踏板式鼠笼取代传统鼠笼的时刻已经到来。扩展阅读：老鼠最怕一味药 ... 捕鼠笼怎么用视频 ... 老鼠笼怎么用步骤图解 ... 自制老鼠笼 ... 老鼠笼弹簧安装步骤图 ... 永久驱鼠最佳办法 ... 老鼠最怕一样东西 ... 捕鼠笼结构清楚图 ... 老鼠笼子安装图解 ...
