句型的存在到底有什么意义？就是为了给大家在考试上出难题吗？
非也！
人家老外就是这么说的，说明一定有它存在的意义：
many
students
are
singing
in
the
classroom.
there
are
many
students
in
the
classroom.
看出来上面两句的区别了没有？
没错，第一句比第二句多了一个sing唱歌的动作在里面。
所以，用there
be句型，就是为了突出主语，而弱化动作。看下面2个句子：
many
students
are
singing
in
the
classroom.
这局强调“唱歌”
there
are
many
students
singing
in
the
classroom.
此句强调“很多学生”

is
there
+（介宾/副词）?

如：
1）There
are
many
books
on
the
desk.
如果对many
books提问，则是：What
is
there
on
the
desk?
2)
There
are
a
lot
of
Chinese
abroad.
如果对a
lot
of
Chinese提问，则是：Who
is
there
abroad?
3.
以上句型虽然原句be动词都是复数形式，但是如果提问用what/who时，则必须改成单数。
