车载诊断系统(OBD)，OBD系统将根据发动机的工作状况随时监测汽车排放的尾气是否超标，超标时即发出警示。然而，这个OBD系统的实行体现出了很大的中国特色。根据国家环保总局的规定，2007年7月1日，全国生产和销售的新车都必须符合这一标准，OBD系统将推迟一年实施。
“国V”排放标准相当于欧V标准，欧IV的标准自然是比国V低一个级别了。
