以前，我们学校非常窄小，还记得一年级时，我们在危房里上课，房顶上铺的是瓦片，一不留神，就有瓦片掉下来砸着头。那时的校门，是用铁做的，一摸手上一把锈。
二年级时，我们学校拆了危房，于是，我们搬到了校门口，虽然教室环境好了一点，但坐在墙边的同学是身上“下雪”。
三年级时，我们搬到了东兴寺分校，教室变宽了，光线也更好了，只是黑板总反光，使得坐在后排的同学看不清黑板。
四年级时，我们仍在东兴寺上课。我们从三楼搬到了四楼，那时正值三伏天，四楼十分热，致使期末复习时在六年级教室上课。
五年级时，我们终于从东兴寺搬回了塘坎上。呵，又建了三栋教学楼，大门也成了自动门了。学校门前有一块大大的牌子，上面刻着“自贡市自流井区塘坎上小学”几个字，教室的黑板一点不反光，坐在最后一排都能看到黑板，墙也变成瓷砖的了，厕所又新修了两个，操场从坑坑洼洼的操场变成了平平整整的操场，让人心情非常愉快。
现在我们学校只有这些变化，相信我们学校还会变化的！

现在，我们学校是一个干净，有秩序的地方。早晨一进校门，就听见朗朗的读书声。同学们上课非常认真，没有了小动作。楼道里，既干净又安静。同学们上下楼也很有秩序，没有大声喧哗的，有的同学走路像猫似的。
下课的时候，操场上都是同学们玩着有意义的游戏，有的跳绳，有的跑步，有的玩圣斗士，有的玩跳皮筋，有的砸沙包……操场上，没有了飞扬的尘土，有的只是同学们的欢声笑语。同学们都能健康快乐地成长。
同学们做值日也很认真了，做得很干净。大家都自觉地把废纸放到塑料袋里，扔到垃圾箱里。把痰吐在W.C或废纸里。
我们学校的变化真大呀！它有了严格的纪律，有了干净的环境，有了学习的氛围，有了活动的乐园。
