一、选择字体
初学者最好从楷体开始，不要盲目的练习隶书、篆书、行书以及瘦金体，更不能上来就是“狂草”，更不能三天打鱼两天晒网，学习一下楷书，又沾点隶书等，虽然这些容易出效果，但根基不牢，就把握不住要点，容易形成行家不认可的“江湖体”，那到时候想改都改不来了，这种字体只能在外行人面前秀一下，但在内行人就会被耻笑，不入流。楷体，尤其是欧楷，比较端庄，堂堂正正才是中国人应该有的气节。欧楷在唐楷中处于前期，他上承汉隶魏碑，下启颜体柳体，所以学好欧楷，对于新手来说受益最广。
二、先练基本功再练字

三、勤学多练
