My friend Mandela.

Mandela was born in a poor family in South Africa. He went to school at the age of seven. Unfortunately, his father died when he was ten. But the royal offered him a chance to finish school. He studied law.
When he finished school, he found that the poor black people had no equal rights with the rich whites in South Africa ,so he started to try his best to fight for the rights of blacks. He fought against the government not by violence but with various peaceful ways .Later,he was sent into prison because of this. And just just for this,he gained nationwide respect and admiration.
But life didn\u2019t break him. He finally came out of the prison and became the president of South Africa.
From his experiences,we can draw a sound conclusion that Mandela is a great fighter for equal rights and freedom of the blacks .In addition,he is also a peace-lover and even a real peace-maker. And this may be one of the the reasons for his winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Mr Trotter:Ah, yes, here you are. Miss Jones. You are jumping twenty-third.
Flo: Jumping? Me ? But I can’t… I haven’t aven got a pony.
Mr Trotter: Dear me! You’ve come without your pony? Then we’ll have to find one for you.
Flo was sitting on a big, black pony. It snorted and stamped its feet.
Mr Trotter: His name is Thunder. You have to show him who’s boss.
Flo: I’m pretty sure he was boss. I don’t know how to ride, get me down! There is been a mistake.
Mr Trotter: Don’t worry, my dear. You’ll be fine. Good luck!

Mr Trotter: And the next rider is Miss Pippa Jones on Thunder.
The crowd clapped.

Flo: But my real name isn’t Pippa! Somebody get me down!
Thunder was heading for the first fence. Flo shut her eyes.
Flo: My god!
Flo’s hat slipped down over her eyes.
Flo: Oh, I can’t see any thing.
Flo was almost upside down, hanging onto Thunder’s neck.
Mr Trotter: What an odd way to ride. Now ladies and gentlemen, she and her pony come to the last one, give them big hands!
Flo: He-elp!
They landed with a thud. Then Flo fell off onto the grass. Everyone crowed around her. They picked her up and patted her on the back.
Mr Trotter: Are you all right? Well done. Jolly good riding,
Flo: What happened?
Mr Trotter: You won. You jumped all the fences in the fastest time. Now I will give you a silver cup. Everybody, this year’s winner of the Junior Cup is Miss Pippa Jones.
