（表达了一种“微笑”的习惯）
如果加be动词
I’m smiling, I’m angry.
意思就变成了：
（此刻）我正在微笑，（可是）我（也）正在生气。
（表达了一种行为或状态，正在“微笑”，但在生气的时候同时“微笑”，不一定是一种习惯）
be 的用法主要三种：
1. 表示是，比如我是李明I am Li Ming .
2. 看不到动词的句子要加be，因为英语的句子不能没有动词，比如他很高He is tall ，不能说He tall.
3. 构成进行时，被动语态。
smile是实义动词可以单独作谓语，angry是形容词，需要来个be才能做谓语。

我自己的理解就是谓语这部分，不是动词+时态就是系表结构。
I smile 是主谓
I'm angry 是主系表
因为动词分为四大类:
实意动词
连系动词。
情态动词
助动词。
只有实义动词可以单独做谓语，
而系动词必须和形容词一起作谓语。
第一个题是实意动词，
而第二个是是一个形容词，
所以它必须和系动词一起。
smile是动词，angry是形容词
