而not与both连用是部分否定，意为：并不是两个地方都喜欢。哦，C不行，both后用cities.我没看清。不改了。只能是C。但题句本身是有问题的。

答：many exercises 是复数，用them不用it来指代。
4.改错：When in Rome,do like Romans do.答案是将like改为了as 为什么呢
答：like是介词，不能引导从句，而as可以作连词。再说这是一句谚语，不能随便改。
注：实际上现代英语中，尤其是美语口语中，like有象连词一样用的趋势。但考试英语语法是不承认的。
5.改错：My classmate LiuHua speaks English as if she is an Englishman.
答案是把is改为了were 为什么呢？
答：as if后可用虚拟语气，表示非真实的情况。be动词用were.
1，你已经意识到是虚拟语气了，但是虚拟语气经常有时态不一致现象，从句时对过去的虚拟，表示如果过去有足够的时间，主句是对现在的虚拟，表示那么现在就能够完成工作。
2，not...either=neither,如果用both那么city应该是复数形式，这个你应该知道的啊。
3，看来你的问题只出现在第二个空上，请注意前面是many exercises很多种练习，种类繁多啊，呵呵，所以没完成啊。
4，这是一句谚语啊，再说了，like能引导句子？后面是Romans do一个省略句.
5，LiuHua是英国人吗？很显然不是，何况as if引导了一个带有虚拟语气的从句啊，所以要用were。
