1、作品中反映出来的艺术技巧。所有的艺术家对于他们选择的材料、工具的使用都是展现出非凡的技能，以至于让我们视为“神”，妙笔生花。当然有水平的差距，但不容忽视他们在这些技巧上的锻炼。所以，对于我们的'学生应当培养他们对于各种绘画材料的熟悉及各种工具使用的技巧。可以经常性的引导学生观察分析画家作品或是优秀的学生作品中显示出来的驾御材料工具的技能。我们的评价方式也许就有了方向和标准：你对某材料的掌握很好！或反之鼓励其加油、用心体会！你控制色彩的本领最强了！反之鼓励其加强注意处理、检视色彩的细节等等。当然这样的评价可以建立在分析学生阶段性学习情况的前提上，平时的作业多加强口头评价、建议为宜，否则是不切合实际的。教师课堂巡视中检验学生能否把自己心里的想法通过笔头物象或情感的描绘表现出来，这是美术技能教学必须完成的任务。
