战国（前403年-前221年）是我国继东周列国以来的又一个诸侯割据的时代。其与春秋在历史上并无明确的界限，只是依照今天的习惯，以“三家分晋”（前 403年）为起始标志，到前二二一年秦统一六国这一段时间称为战国时期.
三家分晋
中国春秋末年韩、赵、魏三家瓜分晋国。晋国从献公时起，不许立公子、公孙为贵族，公子、公孙只好离晋而仕他国，这就是所谓晋无公族。由于排斥公族，导致异姓或国姓中疏远的卿大夫得势，政权逐渐为他们所操纵。春秋中期以后，10余个卿大夫家族控制了晋国的政局。经过不断吞并，到了春秋晚期只剩下韩、魏、赵、范、智、中行6家最大的宗族，称为六卿。代表新兴势力的六卿同晋国旧贵族进行了激烈斗争，旧贵族日趋没落。六卿各自采取革新措施，以期发展实力。韩、赵、魏的改革尤为彻底。后来赵又灭范氏、中行氏，迫使他们逃出晋国。春秋末年，智氏最强，赵联合韩、魏消灭智氏。晋长期的卿大夫兼并战争告一段落，三家被周威烈王册封为诸侯。公元前376年，韩、赵、魏废除晋国的最后国君——晋静公，最终完成三家分晋的历程。三家分晋是以新旧势力斗争为表现形式的晋国社会变革的结果，是中国古代历史从春秋时代进入战国时代的重要标志之一。
顺便再说下“春秋”。作为时代，春秋因鲁国编年史《春秋》而名。但整个春秋年代却不是以《春秋》编年为标准。《春秋》编年从鲁隐公元年（公元前722年）迄至鲁哀公14年（公元前481年），而对春秋结束的年代说法不一。现在一般以周平王元年（前770年）到周敬王44年（前476年）为春秋时代。
作为历史题是应该选择D，但是作为历史的观念，那么田齐代姜齐与三家分晋处在同一时期，并且同样在史学界被认为是战国时代的开端，原因是田氏代姜齐之后进行了深入的封建制改革，而三家分晋的结果也是深化了封建制改革,使时代为之一转~所以我认为应该全面地看待这道题~
