This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside\uff0c where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Besides doing farm work\uff0c I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.
I get up early in the morning. After breakfast, I go to school by bike. It takes me about twenty minutes to get to my school. I have a morning class, four classes in the morning and four in the afternoon. Class is over at 4:50. I play table tennis with my friends for about an hour after school. I get home at about 6:10. After supper I have a rest. Then I do my homework, listen to music and surf the internet. I don't go to bed until 10:00.

After the final examination, I received a letter from my uncle and aunt who invited me to stay with them for a fortnight. They live in the countryside near a beautiful mountain. The news brought me a restless night. Next morning, after almost a day's ride on the bus I reached their home and I was kindly received by them. They prepared a very nice and airy room for me, Just coming inside, on a small table I found a vase of roses----my favorite flower. I thanked them for their kindness. When they left me to take a rest, I really could not do it. My attention was taken away by the charming and picturesque scenery outside the window. If I were an artist, I would have drawn a wonderful picture of it.
Every morning we took a walk in the neighboring hills where we could enjoy the fresh air and sweet songs by the birds. We gathered wild flowers here and there among the bushes, I found it full of fun.

At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended.
3.Summer Holiday 暑假
I like the summer holidy so much. I look forward to summer holiday every year. Last summer, I went to Shen zhen for my holiday, and it is also a city of seashore like Haikou. I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the afternoon. The sky is blue, the air is clear. Wherever you go, You can always see the green trees, the neat grasses and the colourful flowers. They were really wonderful. Shen Zhen has a lot of tall buildings. And it is a modern city.
My busy day
I have a busy day from Monday to Friday because I must go to school on weekdays. I get up at six then I have a quick breakfast. I leave home at half past six and ride my bike to school. I get to school at about seven. We usually have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. I have my luch at school. School is over at four thirty. Then I have my after-school activities. I go home at five thirty. Then I help my parents with the dinner and after dinner I wash the dishes. I do my homework at seven. After finish doing my homework I read books and surf the internet. I don't go to bed until ten o'clock.
