一只猛犸象和一只树懒是好朋友。有一个小孩的爸爸经常捕杀剑齿虎，剑齿虎为了报复，想抢走小孩。妈妈带着小孩跳下瀑布，然后把他送到岸上，妈妈却被淹死了。猛犸象和树懒带走了小孩。一只剑齿虎把他们带进“陷阱”，其他四只剑齿虎把他们包围了。被猛犸象救过的剑齿虎杀了一只“坏”剑齿虎，猛犸象也杀了一只，另外两只跑掉了。猛犸象和树懒穿越冰川，把小孩送回到了爸爸的身边。
我觉得猛犸象真是富有爱心、团结合作、舍己为人啊！不管在家庭里，还是社会上，我们都应该向猛犸象学习。这让我想到了《一次成功的实验》这篇课文。小女孩说：“你第一，你第二，我第三！”三个小铅锤就依次从瓶中拉出来了，然后水才灌满。小女孩和猛犸象一样富有爱心、团结合作、舍己为人。
猛犸象和树懒克服千难万险，才把小孩送回家，人类很感激他们。这也让我想到，人类总是用动物的毛皮做衣服，总是食用动物的皮肉。好多珍稀动物，比如东北虎、藏羚羊、扬子鳄等都要灭绝了。我们必须停止对他们的伤害，保护他们的生存环境。
《冰河世纪》这部电影，还让我想到了远古时代冰川的巨大，与现在的气候变暖。如果人类没有出现，没有破坏环境，这个世界的冰川也不会慢慢地融化。
人类与动植物应该和平共处，共享地球这个美丽的大家园！
