A Grain of Sand

William Blake/
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild fllower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

(四）Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
By Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

（五）ALWAYS HAVE A DREAM 总是有一个梦想

Forget about the misfortunes you have encountered. But don't forget the times your luck has turned. Forget about the days when you have been lonely. But don't forget the friendly smiles you have seen. Forget about the plans that didn't seem to work out right. 1.My River by Emily Dickinson

My river runs to thee.
Blue sea, wilt thou welcome me?
My river awaits reply.
Oh! sea, look graciously.

I’ll fetch thee brooks
from spotted nooks.
Say, sea, Take me!

2.You and I

by Muse Invoke
You
and I...
scribbled notes written in class
and pictures of a past not forgotten.

Milkshakes at the corner cafe
and talk about Gibson's new movie.

You
and I...
nervous glances at each other
and emotions bottled up.

Breaking off dates
and...we are drifting from being
you
and I.

We are on the border line,
not knowing which side of the line is right.
Not knowing if we are...
you
and I.

3.All Friends Are

by Daniel N Benway aka thelufias
Friends are who you need the most,
When times are not so right.
They come and go so frequently,
You hope you pick one right.

The right one listens with both ears,
And soothes your aching heart.
The right one never questions you,
When you seem to fall apart.

The friend for you is one who says,
"Be calm and let me help"
For there are some real bad days,
When life hits you below the belt.

All friends are not forever,
They are few and far between,
But the few true friends you do find,
Will never, ever leave.

4.Wonderful Teacher

With a special gift for learning
And with a heart that deeply cares,
You add a lot of love
To everything you share,
And even though
You mean a lot,
You'll never know how much,
For you helped
To change the world
Through every life you touched.
You sparked the creativity
In the students whom you taught,
And helped them strive for goals
That could not be bought,
You are such a special teacher
That no words can truly tell
However much you're valued
For the work you do so well.

5.School

Winifred C. Marshall

School bells are ringing, loud and clear;
Vacation's over, school is here.

We hunt our pencils and our books,
And say goodbye to fields and brooks,

To carefree days of sunny hours,
To birds and butterflies and flowers.

But we are glad school has begun,
For work is always mixed with fun.

When autumn comes and the weather is cool,
Nothing can take the place of school.

尖尖三角长双腿AAA;双劈葫芦齐又齐BBB;

新月弯弯亮无比CCC;半圆气球打足气DDD;

搬来青山横竖起EEE;风儿吹起两条布FFF;

凳子搁在月亮里GGG;一跟条档难成梯HHH;

笔直旗杆人人爱III;一条钓钩把鱼牵JJJ;

……

两个V字手牵手WWW;会打叉叉做老师XXX;

AAA Let’s say A; HHH What a day; JJJ Don’t play; KKK Don’t stay; AHJK KJHA; Let’s say AHJK

O, O, it’s a bone.;It’s a big bone;Bone, bone, a big bone;The dog likes the big bone. O, O, it’s a rose.;It’s a red rose;Rose, rose, a red rose;I like the red rose.

总结拼读规则: 如cake,face,date;white, kite,bike,nice;nose, home, note;

如学了颜色类单词时,我把单词放入句中:“red, red, I like red; blue, blue, it’s blue; orange, orange, my favourite colour is orange…”又如学习了家居类单词后我让学生这吟诵:“door, door, open the door, please open the door; tap, tap, turn on the tap, please turn on the tap… ”另外如:“man, man, he is a man; woman, woman, she is a woman; tall, tall, the boy is tall; long, long, the hair is long…”

bird, bird, I’m a lovely bird.(边做小鸟飞行的动作);cat, cat, I’m a small cat.(两手五指分开在脸前由中间向两边分开);dog,dog, I’m a little dog.(两手放头上作耳朵的样子);monkey,monkey, I’m a thin monkey.(把手放在头顶学孙悟空的样子);elephant,elephant, I’m an elephant.(双手握住,下垂摇晃); tiger,tiger, I’m a big tiger.(作出向前猛扑的姿势); zebra,zebra, I’m a tall zebra. (双手向前划动,象马一样奔跑);panda,panda, I’m a nice panda. One, two, stand up; Three, four, how are you? Five, six, have a seat; Seven, eight, sit up; Nine, ten, work hard.

如:一对反义词long和short可以这样操练:long,long,long(声音越来越高),short,short,short(声音越来越低);又如tall,tall,tall(声音越来越高,用手演示越来越高),short,short,short(声音越来越低,用手演示越来越矮),还有fat和thin等等。

“Cat,cat,cat,miaow-miaow-miaow.

Dog,dog,dog,woof-woof-woof.

Duck,duck,duck,quack-quack-quack…”。

例如:在学牛津教材3B Do you play…?

× × × × ××× × × × ×

What’s your name? I am … Do you like football?

× × × × × × × ××× ×

No, I don’t. What do you like? I like baseball.

如:牛津教材4A unit2这一单元,“What’s this/that?” Guess,guess,guess. A pen? A ballpen? No, no, no. What's that?Guess,guess,guess. A book? A bookmark? Yes,yes,yes.”。

如:在教学牛津教材4A unit3时,我在教学了“in, on, under, beside, behind, between”等方位词后,我创编了一首My study的小诗:

Oh, where? Oh, where?

Where’s my notebook? It’s on the desk.

Where’s my desk? It’s beside the bed.

Where’s my bed? It’s between the walls.
