第一小节仿佛是一个特写镜头：春风、春水、树枝、水鸭构成了一幅春意盎然的图画，春天的美好跃然纸上。
第二小节运用比喻的修辞方法，作者把自己比成了快乐的小鸟，换上春装，飞过树林，飞上山冈，让我们感受到了作者寻找春天那种快乐高兴的心情。
第三小节给我们描绘了一副戏春图：从“牵引”一词，能体会到作者发现第一只蝴蝶时高兴又情不自禁的感情。“爱怜地”和“放”这两个词，能让我们感受到作者捉住蝴蝶的高兴又怕伤害小蝴蝶的心里。这幅戏春图能给读者留下深刻的印象。捉、放飞舞的蝴蝶，是爱怜，是珍惜的情感流露在字里行间。
