如何练习太极拳的劲力和招法
沾、连、随、粘是练内家拳者，特别是练太极拳者最基本的和特别讲究的一种劲力和招法。这种劲力，人们称之为“沾连劲”或“随劲”;这种招法，称之为“粘随法”或“随法”。沾、连、随、粘也是练太极拳者在推手或较手对抗中应该采用的重要的技术手法。
沾、连、随、粘这四个字紧密联系，相辅相成。沾，即沾得住，沾贴在一起;连，即连接，连系在一起，不断开;随，即跟随对方，顺随对方，要哪儿给哪儿，不丢不抗，舍己从人，逆中求顺;粘，就是如胶似漆，粘粘糊糊，使对方无法摆脱自己：而且,只有粘，才能与对方沾贴在一起。
不会沾、连、随、粘，就无法“听劲”，所以沾连随粘是“听劲”的方法。不会沾连随粘就谈不上“知劲”、“懂劲”，所以，沾连随粘又是“知劲”、“懂劲”的手段。
沾连随粘可以度量出对方招法的变化和劲力的大小、方向、快慢、长短、刚柔、虚实，所以沾连随粘又是知己知彼的手段。
较手中谁粘连随粘使用得好，谁就掌握了取胜的主动权。沾连随粘不仅在对方平和的态势下运用，就是在其来势迅疾凶猛的情况下也要运用;不仅在我顺人背时使用，而且在彼顺我背，彼力大，我力小的情况下更应该使用。
沾、连、随、粘是“知己知彼”、“以小胜力大”、“以弱胜强”等独特的技击劲力和方法，贯穿在太极拳练较手的全部过程中。
那么怎样在较手中运用好沾连随粘呢?那就是必须把太极拳松、柔、圆、活的特点融入在沾连随粘之中。
所谓松(是用意不用力的表现);是指全身内外各个部位都充分地放松，没有拙力与僵劲;但是松绝不是松垮、疲沓、松懈。
所谓柔，是说身体各个部位都要柔和，柔顺，不可僵硬、死板。柔不是萎软无力，而是柔中寓刚，即外操柔软，内含坚刚，积柔成刚，化刚为柔。
所谓圆，即环而无间，周而复始，连绵不断。圆藏太极生化之道，其阴阳相生，虚实渗透，开合相寓，刚柔互运，动静浑然。
所谓活，即周身无滞、轻灵圆活，意贯神舒、活灵活现。
那么，如何练好太极拳的招法和劲力呢?
一、招与劲相辅相成，劲力藏于招法之中。
太极劲力是通过招法来练习的，也通过招法来体现。《太极拳论》中说：“由招熟而渐悟懂劲，由懂劲而阶及神明。”这里讲述了太极拳的练习过程。太极拳的练习有四个阶段。一是招法练习要做到形正，就是姿势正确，动作规范，做到立身中正。形正了，神意才能舒展。因此，形正，是太极拳练习的基础，是太极拳劲力的外在表现。二是招熟，就是动作熟练。动作经过千锤百炼，熟练了，才能体现出内里的劲力，也就是俗话说的“拳打千遍其理自现”。熟练了以后，才能达到懂劲。三是在动作熟练的基础上达到懂劲，也就是懂得合理地使用劲力。用现代生理学来解释，就是该用力的肌肉用力，不该用力的肌肉放松，这就是巧劲。四是神明阶段，所谓的神明，就是融会贯通的意思，融会贯通以后，“从心所欲而不逾矩”，无论什么样的动作都合乎规矩。这样在推手实战中就能出奇而制胜。
二、阴阳相济，合理用劲。
《太极拳论》中说：“阴不离阳，阳不离阴，阴阳相济方为懂劲。”阴阳在太极拳动作中的具体体现就是虚实。太极拳的动作离不开虚实、刚柔、进退、含展、开合等等，要在动作开合、虚实上体会太极拳的拳势动作，然后进一步体悟动作中的虚中有实，实中有虚;开中有合，合中有开的阴阳相济的太极拳劲力。武禹襄讲“蓄劲如张弓，发劲如放箭”，劲力“由脚而腿而腰，总须完整一气”，讲的就是太极拳合理用劲的方法，这样才能发出整劲。太极拳的劲儿，一个是巧，一个是整。所谓巧，就是能够引进落空，蓄而后发。所谓整力，就是周身能发出整体力量。要练出整力和巧劲，要由松入柔，由柔入沉。初学太极拳，容易出现的毛病一个是软塌无力，没有劲;另一个就是僵硬拙力，以为自己在体现太极拳的劲。这两种情况都是没能正确地使用太极拳的劲力。
三、狠抓基本功训练。
现在，很多人没能练出太极劲，甚至说练的是太极操、太极舞，我认为这是由于没有练好基本功。如何练出太极劲呢?就是在外形动作规范正确的基础上，练习基本功法，比如桩功、步法、平衡、弹抖发劲等等。太极拳不仅仅是柔的、慢的，它是练时慢，用时快;有的太极拳，比如陈式太极拳，是有很多发力的动作的。因此，练习太极拳也要练习力量，要加强肌肉的力量。比如武术专业运动员，都有力量训练的内容，专门训练身体的力量、速度、柔韧等素质。这样才能更好地表现动作中的劲力。太极拳的下肢负重比较重，长期练习能够增强功力，上肢运动量不够，就要进行一些辅助功法的训练，以提高上肢力量。民间的太极拳训练，也应该适当增加一些身体素质的训练，以提高自己的功力。传统武术中有许多练习基本功的方法，有练习腿功的踢腿、摆腿、压腿、耗腿、溜腿，也有练习腰功、臂功等，我们都可以采用。
四、多推手，练听劲。
太极拳的劲，不仅仅是蓄劲和发劲，还有听劲。听劲就是侦查对方的动态，了解对方劲力的虚实、大小和方向等等，以便做出正确的判断和应对。在推手中，要很好地体验“引进落空合即出”。只有引进落空了，才能四两拨千斤，借力打人。人的本能是遇到力量就抵抗，推手训练的是化解对方的劲力，以柔克刚。通过推手训练，学会柔化，练出活力巧劲。太极拳的特点是以柔克刚，做到这一点，就要以圆破直、随中求变、边化边发。太极拳吸收了其他拳种的优点，形成了自己以柔克刚的风格，而要实现以柔克刚，就要能够听劲，做到沾连黏随、不丢不顶。
