在鲁迅的心目中，故乡是美好的，漂亮的。童年时他是一位地位尊贵、家境又好的少爷，在一个大院中成长。在一次祭祀中，他结识了忙月叫来管祭器的孩子——闰土。少年时朝气蓬勃、见多识广的闰土给他带来了不同的童年记忆，但他在鲁迅二十年后回乡时所展现出的苍老麻木却也让鲁迅着实吃了一惊，多子、饥荒、苛税等等生活压力将他压迫得迟钝且畏惧生活，繁杂的礼教更是让他与身为“老爷”的鲁迅产生了不可打破的一层隔阂。不仅是闰土，加上鲁迅的家人、当年安分守己、年轻漂亮的豆腐西施杨二嫂，都被封建社会那经济上的贫困、压迫与精神上的摧残折磨的叫苦不迭，便渐渐变得自私放纵，尖刻贪婪与麻木。
中国几千年的旧制度旧文化和旧的理念到那时已经腐朽，但又犹如一颗巨大的毒瘤，想要根除是非常困难的。那时老百姓没有一个好的领头人，再加上人们的心灵已被黑暗吞噬得所剩无几，被尊卑、主仆的观念侵蚀得迟钝木讷，所以大家不敢改变，也没有能力改变。所以，封建社会的制度就这样毒害了人民那么多年，使中国农村逐渐萧条，破败，人们无奈之中只好把愿望托付给那些不存在的佛啊神啊，对平等社会的渴望也就自然而然的灰飞烟灭。从碧绿的瓜田，深蓝的天空，到苍黄的天下，萧索的荒村；从热爱生活，无忧无虑的少年闰土，到悲哀痛苦、苍老贫困的中年人；从与闰土是亲密无间，情真意切的好朋友，到现在使用上“老爷”“磕头”等词的主仆身份……这一切，鲁迅看在眼里，痛在心里。
说到这儿，我真的为鲁迅与闰土那原先真真挚挚的友谊感到惋惜，如果不是社会上礼教的压迫，他们的友谊本可以永远保持下去。鲁迅先生在目睹了人们被剥削摧残下的惨况和中国农村在辛亥革命的后期逐渐衰败、破落后留下了篇尾那句启悟人心的名言：“希望本是无所谓有，无所谓无的。这正如地上的路；其实地上本没有路，走的人多了，也便成了路。”我认为，鲁迅先生这是将“路”作为一个比喻，其实这个“路”象征着人们走向幸福与平等的革命之路，是人民百姓推翻帝国主义的成功之路。鲁迅
先生激励人民要用实际行动去证明，而不是空说空想。鲁迅自己就是这样一位伟大的开路者，拓荒者，他犀利的笔触，就仿佛无形的武器，将敌人打得头破血流，为中国的革命事业指明了方向。
现在，我们都过上了幸福的生活，但这都是老一辈革命者打下的基础与条件。所以我们新一代人们应该好好珍惜他们以生命为工具的劳动成果，学习他们的精神，也以便为以后的人们创造更美好的社会。

从鲁迅的《故乡》中，我们可以看到鲁迅的童年是一座被尘封的大院。
童年的鲁迅，仿佛是一个生活在天堂的魔鬼，丰衣足食却寸步难行；而闰土则是生活在地狱的天使，生活艰辛但充满快乐。闰土的童年必须要看瓜田，但他自由、快乐。鲁迅的童年虽丰衣足食，但他只能悲哀地念着“之乎者也”。闰土还可以去做无穷无尽的新鲜事，看无边无际的海洋；而鲁迅只能看到那“四角的天空”。
没有了自由，多少财富都是破铜烂铁。自由才是真正的金子！
可那毕竟是几十年前的封建社会，离现在已经有那么漫长而浩瀚的一段历史。可是，到了现在的社会，大人们还是大同小异、异曲同工地为我们打造一个标准童年：束缚。
我觉得束缚再加上比较再加上无穷无尽的学习，与监狱相比也已经只有毫厘之差了。作为社会未来的新动力，我们的生存状态难道没有理由受到关注吗？大人们总是以为吃饱穿暖学习好，就是一个孩子的全部，可这些却恰恰是我们这些孩子最忽略的。
我们需要自由，我们要亲身经历，我们也要知道许多新鲜事，我们要一个快乐的童年，我们要逃离束缚！
