meaningful是形容词做宾语补足语
make在这里表示“使，让”叫做“使役”动词，它的后面跟复合宾语结构，也就是宾语加宾语补足语;在你提供的这个结构中：it是宾语，meaningful就是宾语补足语。宾语可以是sb.也可以是sth.,充当宾语补足语的可以形容词，名词，不带to的不定式或过去分词。如：

it为形式宾语，possible形容词充当宾补，that引导的整个从句是真实宾语。
