老鼠，肮脏、下贱、不值一提，并且时常不劳而获。这样一种生物，在这部影片里面代指那些伊果瞧不起的人，那些“不配”做料理的人，当这样一种人给伊果呈现了那一盘勾起他受了欺负后回家得到莫大安慰的回忆之后，他怎能不震惊？要知道，伊果那种人，无论是性格还是美食方面的阅历，能在那种情况下打动他，并不是更登峰造极的料理，也更不可能是密不可分的私人关系。可以说，小老鼠以自己低微的身份打破了他内心最脆弱的那一道围墙。
