arrive 和get 是不及物动词，当后面跟地点时，一定要加介词
具体如下：
一、 arrive是不及物动词，表示到达、抵达某地（尤指行程的终 点），后常接介词at 或in，一般in接大地方，at接小地方，若是地点副词，则不需用介词，如arrive home就不加介词，因为home是副词。
二、 reach是及物动词，直接接宾语，无须介词，和arrive一样，属正式用语。
三、 和arrive一样，get也是不及物动词，只是它多用于口语，其后接的介词是to，后面如接副词，则不用介词to，如get home。
首先是没有arrive to和reach to这个用法的。
英语里表示“到达”意思的有arrive、reach和get三个单词，有时还能互换。
它们在用法上有如下区别：
一、arrive是不及物动词，表示“到达、抵达某地（尤指行程的终
点），后常接介词at或in，一般in接大地方，at接小地方，若是地点副词，则不需用介词。例如：
Do you know what time the plane arrive in Moscow？
你知道飞机什么时候抵达莫斯科？

三、和arrive一样，get也是不及物动词，只是它多用于口语，其后接的介词是to，后面如接副词，则不用介词to。
例如：
I get to school at about 7：30 every day,and I get home at 5:00 in the afternoon.
我每天7：30到校，下午5：00到家。
Have we got to the zoo yet？
我们到动物园了吗？
The visitors got there last night.
参观的人昨晚到这儿的。
从上面的句子可以看出，这几个词的区别不是太大，主要是别用混了介词。
例如
“格林先生昨晚抵达武汉”可以说：Mr Green arrived in /got to/reached Wuhan last night.
表示“到达”get to = reach = arrive in/at 后面接表示地点的名词。
eg.When did you get to Shanghai? When did you reach Shanghai?
When did you arrive in Shanghai? 你是什么时候到达上海的？
但三组词有区别:
reach可以接表示地点的副词，如：here, there, home等。
get to后面接这些副词，要去掉to arrive in/at后面接地点副词，应去掉in/at
He reached home at half past eight last night.
=He got there at half past eight last night.
=He arrived there at half past eight last night.
应注意,如果动词之后不指到达什么地方时,一般只用arrive, 不用reach和get to
eg. When we arrived, it was raining hard. 当我们到达时，雨正下得很大。
这三个词都可表示“到达某地”，正确的用法是:
1、get to之后可加地点,如：
He usually gets to school on time.
2、reach是及物动词，后面可以直接跟宾语，也就是说后面不用介词,直接跟地点，如：
When I reached the station, the train had left.
3、arrive是不及物动词，后面不能直接跟宾语，必须加上介词 in或者at，然后才跟地点，in之后跟大地方，at后跟小地方，如：
He has arrived in Japan/Beijing/Paris/London.
I arrived at the hospital at 7:00.
如果后面跟地点副词，则不用加介词，如：
get there/here/home
arrive there/here/home
都表示‘到达’,但是arrive是不及物动词,接地名的时候要加at之类的介词,如 I arrive at Beijing yesterday.我昨天到北京.
reach是及物动词,直接接地名,如上例为I reached Beijing yesterday.
get to也是直接接地名.
那么【题目为什么选arrive呢?】
因为arrive不及物,没有at的时候不可以接名词,但是可以接介词和副词（when、where之类的是表示状态的副词）；
而reach后要么不接,要么就只能接名词；
get to后都要直接接地名.
以上题目中reach和get to都不可以用.

When will the plane arrive?飞机什么时候到?
Where will the ship arrive?船要去哪里?（目的地）
when will you reach(或arrive at或get to) Beijing?你什么时候到北京?
