治小儿便秘：对于小儿便秘，可将5克大黄研成末，用米醋调成糊状，外敷在肚脐处，用伤湿止痛膏来固定，连续敷12～24小时。一般一次就可以见效，如果没有见效那就不要再用了，必须赶紧带孩子去医院就诊。

三黄片里的黄芩有什么用？

治上焦湿热之症：如果感觉胸闷，发热，但是体温不高，可以直接将黄芩6～8克煎水服用。

治咽喉肿痛之症：可用黄芩、连翘、金银花各10克煎水服用，或者直接服用双黄连口服液。

治口腔溃疡：将少许等量的黄芩和细辛，研末涂搽疮疡面，等痰涎流出来就好了。

治肺热咳嗽：单味应用，即为清金丸。

三黄片里的黄连（盐酸小檗碱）有什么用？

治中焦湿热之症：黄连在“三黄”中寒性最大，也最苦，凡是舌尖红，心情烦躁等心火旺或口臭、口腔溃疡、饭量旺盛等胃火旺的患者，均可用黄连。

治痢疾，腹泻腹痛：可用葛根芩连片或者单纯的黄连素片。若痢疾时出现红白相问的脓血，可抓白头翁和秦皮各10克，黄芩和黄柏各6克，煎水服用。

服用三黄片后有时会出现不良反应：偶尔会有恶心、呕吐、皮疹和药热，但停药后即可消失。
