他们俩开战是‘’因超人救人时的灾难‘’但不是因为那个大坏蛋，只是超人用地球武器是杀不死的，有一个公司老板在印度洋发现了一块氪星原石，它能够杀死超人，于是蝙蝠侠偷走了石头，做成武器与超人开战，后来那个公司老板用氪星人尸体造了一个怪物，大肆的欺负超人，但同时毁灭了周边城市蝙蝠侠看不下去了，和超人一同打那个怪物，后来神奇女侠也来了，最后超人用氪星原石做成的武器与怪物同归于尽，人们都以为超人死了，下葬后，片尾又留了一些超人还活着的信息。
大体剧情就是超人跟佐德上校开战时造成的城市破坏，包括韦恩大厦，许多民众将超人当做神来崇拜，随后超人来到议院接受审判，不料被莱克斯引爆炸弹，只有超人毫发无损，在电视机前目睹了这一切的老爷就火了，抢氪石特训准备和超人开战，这一切都在莱克斯的计划之内，目的就是让他俩自相残杀，然后超人被老爷打的叫妈，老爷就跑去救超人他妈了，在老爷准备杀超人的时候因为超人说的是玛丽，玛丽正是老爷母亲的名字，然后莱克斯把佐德改造成了毁灭日，对抗老爷大超，随后神奇女侠赶到，最后大超和毁灭日同归，但片尾暗示并没有死，这大概就是正义黎明的剧情了
卢瑟是DC世界里最聪明的地球人之一，论头脑，甚至不比蝙蝠侠差。卢瑟不是坏蛋这么简单，他更多的是他的野心和对超人类的嫉妒，他的观点和蝙蝠侠很像，都不相信这种绝对正义的压倒性的力量，超人虽然有拯救世界的力量同时也有毁灭世界的力量，他的存在能把人类世界推向两个极端，卢瑟觉得自己就是地球上最NB的人物，而超人作为一个外星人却被地球人尊为神明，卢瑟是容忍不了的。至于蝙蝠侠，卢瑟早就知道蝙蝠侠的真实身份了，同样和他一样家财万贯，头脑精明的布鲁斯·韦恩，蝙蝠侠文武双全，又是战术大师，某种意义上比超人还难搞。卢瑟就是想让这俩自相残杀，对于卢瑟来说，他想要的结果就是超人干死蝙蝠侠，然后他自己有氪石在手就很容易搞掉蓝大个。
是他们一言不合打了起来！
