so that，两种用法
1. 以便，为了，引导目的状语从句。
I spend more time learning English every day so that(＝in order that)I can make greater progress this year.为了今年取得更大进步，我每天用了更多的时间学英语。
2. 因此，所以。引导结果状语从句。

so ~that和such ~that都是that引导的从句，意思都是"如此…以致于"。而so是修饰形容词的，such是修饰名词的。
so ~that，so后面紧跟形容词：例句中修饰强调clever.
