will 和be going to 的区别与会写字和能写字区别一样。都是一个意思的两个不同说法。

will没有太多的主观色彩，只是客观强调事实，阐述将来会发生什么。
be going to 则有较强的主观性，代表说话人打算/计划干什么。另外，be going to通常是指马上就要发生的事情，时间跨度较短。will则没有这个限制。
例如下面这个句子：I ___ tell you, but my phone was out of juice at that time.
这个空里就只能填was going to，而不能用would。
而I ___ go hiking if it doesn't rain tomorrow. 这个句子的空中就只能填will而不能填am going to.

Will 表示不太确定：it will rain tomorrow
be going to 表确定：i am going to have lunch
