当别人问你某个问题，而你想用英文回答「当然(不)」等肯定或否定的回答时，你会使用「Of course」与「Of course not」吗？

1. 肯定用法：Of course

(1) 相似用法 – Yes, Certainly, Absolutely, No problem

(2) 例句： e.g. “Can you do that?” “Of course (I can).” 「你可以做这件事吗？」 「当然。」 e.g. ”Have you done that?” “Of course (I have).” 「你有做这件事吗？」 「当然。」 e.g. “Are you English?” “Absolutely.” 「你是英国人吗？」「当然。」 e.g. “Am I ok if I take this?” “Certainly.” 「我拿走这个可以吗？」「当然。」

2. 否定用法：Of course not

(1) 相似用法 – definitely no / definitely not, No chance

(2) 例句： e.g. “Have you ever been to prison?” “Of course not.” 「你有进过监狱吗？」 「当然没有。」 e.g. “Have you ever been arrested?” “No chance.” 「你有被逮捕过吗？」 「当然没有。」
