People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.

When faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, I still favor using my own feet. I get much pleasure from it. People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

I think you can choose different ways to travel according to the condition. Fist, if you want to make your trip comfortable and fast, taking airplne is the best way.Especially, for your long trip. Second, It's good and cheap for you to take trains as you plane to the countries near your city . Thirdly, It's good idea to drive car to travel when you want to go to the places near your city.
In a word, no matter which kind of traffic way you choose , you had better take the necessary factors into consideration, then, making a decision.

the best way to travel is on foot.because it not only can bring health to me but also being a symbol of travelling.there so many ways to travel such as by plane,by train,even by bicycle.but there is no better than on foot as it is free.you don't need to spend any money.it's just like free to keep fit.and on the same time you travel to see the world.
