On the first day of my school, I was timidated. The whole different environment, different classmates and different teachers. My mom kept telling me it's ok but it didn't give any improvement. Stepping into the school gate, I felt I just lost the last trace of my confidence.
The first days of school are always the worst!
Maybe every student who took the first step on the classroom doesn’t realize the significance of the question. But when we sat, looked around, talked to others, listened to the new teacher…We all get this question.
The four-day training gradually helps me find a way to solve this problem.
When I was at school, the weather was not quite well. I felt exhausted and a little bit annoyed. At that time I didn’t get the point of this activity. Firstly, I defined this by the words such as “meaningless”, “ridiculous” and so on. But when I was in front of the other five classes, showed them the outcome of our training, I felt proud, happy and cheerful. I firstly felt that we are a group. We can do a good job.
Because of the hard training, we won the applause. It taught us how to obey the rules, care about the reputation, be a part of the group. I got to say I am very grateful of our drillmaster and his shout, criticism. He is a very good guy, he is very gentle but strict. I’ll remember him for a long time I think. And I’ll remember the feeling when I left with the sound of clapping. I’ll treat them like my precious memories and keep them in the brain.
The tour to Zhashui is quite a lot fun. Nature is the best teacher for us human being. We faced the power of the nature and we appropriately showed our fear, but we didn’t escape. When I saw the cliff, to be honest, I totally freaked out. I didn’t want to have a try. But the boys who had done the climbing thing told me that it was easy, noting to be afraid of. And the girls said they would have a try if I could do it first. I forced myself to climb the cliff, not just for me, mostly for the people who hesitated a long time.
It’s funny to say that the difficulties are like some small dogs. They like barking to people, but they don’t dare to bite people. When I stepped on the earth, I smiled. And when I had done the following activities, I always smiled. It’s not a big deal. They were much easier than I thought. And maybe the smile influenced the other guys, they asked me about the feeling, and they tried by themselves.
I was glad to share the experiences. That’s how the group works. We share, we encourage each other and finally we smile.
And at the campfire party, I sang a song named Paparazzi from lady gaga. It was a solo, no accompany. During singing,I trembled. Because I have never sung in public. But my classmate clapped for me ,and they kept looking at me. Yes. They trust me. So I finished the song perfectly.
It’s lucky to have such a reliable team.
On the bus back to the city, I asked myself again.
Am I ready to be a part of this brand new team?
I looked at the faces around me. They don’t belong to some strangers anymore. They belong to my new classmates, my new teachers, and my new life.
Out of the window, I saw the lights of city.

With a big smile on my face,I think yes! I’m ready.
