饺子是我国传统美食，也是大家再熟悉不过的一种美食了，每年大年三十的晚上，家家户户都会包好多饺子。 饺子的做法非常简单：先把饺子的馅儿准备好，馅儿的种类特别多，有猪肉馅儿的、白菜馅儿的、芹菜馅儿的、牛肉馅儿的······你想吃什么馅儿就可以调什么馅儿。有了饺子的馅儿，怎么能少了饺子皮儿呢？饺子皮是很好准备，在各种菜市场上都可以买到，都不用自己在家现做。材料都准备好了，就可以开始包了，先用勺子把馅儿盛到饺子皮上，然后再捏成元宝的形状就可以下锅煮了。煮好的饺子一端上桌，就可以闻到肉馅儿散发出的香味，我刚闻到这种香味就已经垂涎三尺了！它的表面看起来特别白，就像婴儿的皮肤一样，别提多诱人了！嗯~ 煮好的饺子不仅看起来很诱人，吃在嘴里也滑滑嫩嫩的，还有一种入口即化的感觉，使人忍不住要多吃几个。看到这里，你可能就要问了，为什么每年大年三十都要吃饺子呢？饺子的寓意又是什么呢？其实大家都可以看到，每一个饺子都包得像元宝一样，这就寓意着招财进宝的意思，至于它为什么每年大年三十都要吃，那一定就是为了第二年能够财源广进。你们知道吗？饺子还有一个传说呢！相传：东汉末年，“医圣”张仲景曾任长沙太守，后辞官回乡。正好赶上冬至这一天，他看见南洋的老百姓饥寒交迫，两只耳朵冻伤，当时伤寒流行，很多人都被病死了。张仲景见了，就用面皮包上羊肉、辣椒和祛寒提热的药材捏成耳朵的形状，煮熟之后送给穷人。后来老百姓从冬至吃到除夕，抵御了伤寒，治好了冻耳。从此乡里人和后人就模仿制作，把它称为“饺耳”或“饺子”，也有一些地方称为“扁食”或“烫面饺”饺子距今已经有1400年的历史了，真不愧为我国的传统美食啊！
