此封面是Linkin Park最近发布的专辑Minutes to Midnight、综上所述，的确没出新专辑，但乐队发行了一首名为《Blackbirds》的新单。如实在要的话，便为iPhone游戏《Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebe*llion!》背景音乐。 《Blackbirds》作为新单曲将不会收录到乐队的专辑中，而这也是首次通过游戏发布新单曲。此外，同样有乐队的经典《In the End》、《New Divide》和《Crawling》8-Bit版。以下为《Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebe*llion!》下载地址： ——下面是转载的资料—— （北京时间5月23日下午消息），据国外媒体报道，美国当红说唱/另类金属乐队林肯公园(Linkin Park)目前正全力为电影《变形金刚II-堕落者的复仇》制作电影原声。同时，林肯公园也开始了新专辑的创作，乐队主唱麦克-信田(Mike Shinoda)表示，林肯公园的第四张正式专辑将于2010年面世。　　信田在接受采访时表示：“新专辑的创作正在进行之中，目前我感觉乐队已经积累了不少的素材。现在我可以说我们已经完成了一半的歌曲。但是在这里不能说专辑的创作已经过半，因为我们也不知道另一半的歌曲需要多长时间才能完成。但是所有的素材就如同泉水涌出一样，我们每周都聚在一起共同讨论新专辑的音乐，随后的一周我们便开始各自的工作，对每一个灵感进行发挥。”信田表示乐队新专辑找好了制作人已经找好，但是目前他还不能解开这一谜底。他希望新专辑会同2007年的专辑《Minutes to Midnight》产生“某种有趣的联系”。而乐队的另一主唱切斯特-本宁顿(Chester Bennington)个人专辑《Dead By Sunrise》将于今年秋天发行。信田表示，本宁顿的新专辑将会是一张摇滚味十足的专辑，而这也将会为林肯公园新专辑提供了一个创作方向。信田表示：“新专辑将不会是又一张《混合理论》，也不会是另一张的《Minutes to Midnight》。如果最后我们按照现在的思路创作，那么新专辑将会不同于以往所发行过的任一张专辑，它将具有自己独特的风格。”同时信田也承认尽管说唱元素在专辑《Minutes to Midnight》中所占并不多，但这一次乐队将会在新专辑中加入更多的说唱元素：“我认为我目前在Fort Minor(信田的个人说唱分支组合)中积蓄了很多能量，我现在希望将这些能量释放出来，所以你可能会在新专辑中感受到更多的说唱风格。我不知道最终的说唱元素在新专辑中会占很多还是只占一小部分，但是现在我已经写下了很多的说唱素材，所以说唱元素将会有很大的可能出现在新专辑之中。”
