确定文章的中心思想后再加以创作，才能使得文章内容能针对题目，而不致离题。另外，不要订立太多的中心思想，以单一主题发挥，才不会增加文章的复杂性。
三、决定文章体裁：
分析完题目后，应可大概看出应以什么体裁来加以书写，而且文体决定之后，就朝着一定方向去写作，如果想融合两种以上的文体，也应有主辅之分。
四、搜集相关材料：
广泛的资料搜集可以丰富文章的内涵，但也不是要所有的材料都概括承受，如此对于主题和布局可能会造成伤害，对于搜集到的材料或脑中引发的灵感，应该予以去芜存菁，如此才能创造出杰出的内容。
五、拟定主题大纲：
依主题拟定大纲，并做好分段规划，如此写作时才能有所参照，也不会离开主题。
六、依大纲写作：
依大纲的内容，把搜集整理的材料融成一体，并注意前后语气连贯性。
七、修饰文句：
边写边修饰，对于文字词句的用法要仔细斟酌，谨慎的应用。
八、详细检查：
找出隐藏的错误，在检查的过程中，对于部分题意的表达，可能会发现更佳的方法。
