教育孩子，首先要教他做人，其次才是做学问。十年树木，百年树人，所以想要孩子成为一个顶天立地的人，绝不是一朝一夕就能完成的，教育孩子是家长们终生的职业。
当然，教育孩子的方法绝不是千篇一律的，应该因人而异，这里的“人”，既指教育者，也指被教育者。但有几个大的原则应该是相同的。
第一，帮助孩子养成良好的学习和生活习惯。小学阶段最重要的任务就是就是培养孩子养成良好的学习和生活习惯，习惯的力量是巨大的，当习惯成为一种自然，孩子自主的能力就慢慢发挥出来了。
第二，从小培养孩子对知识的兴趣和渴望，让他慢慢学着在知识的海洋中寻找乐趣。兴趣是最好的老师。我个人认为，阅读（看课外书）兴趣对孩子是非常重要的，只有当他对阅读产生了浓厚的兴趣，随着时间的推移，他会发现，通过读书还可以知道许多非常有趣的事，于是他对阅读的兴趣越来越浓，书看得多了，知识面也越来越广。同时，在家庭中形成良好的学习气氛。也可以经常带孩子去图书馆看书。逐步地使孩子形成勤奋学习的良好习惯。
第三、尽可能地支持他的兴趣和爱好，可能的话引导着他一起玩，寓教于乐，在玩乐中学到知识。
第四、尽量鼓励孩子积极思考，独立地完成各科作业。只有经过自己的思考，才能真正理解、掌握所学的知识。
第五、经常鼓励孩子，让孩子在学习中有成就感成就感是激励孩子认真学习的动力。鼓励时一定会实事求是，如果孩子在学习中经常获得成功，他的自尊心就得到满足，就会有较强的自信心，对学习更有兴趣，更有信心，从而不断进步，形成良性循环。
第六、把孩子当成朋友，平等对待他，与多沟通、多交流，家长要做孩子的知心朋友。真正把他当成家庭中的一员，让他参加家庭一些事务（征求他的意思），适当尊重他的看法和意见。
第七、培养相互的信任，以身作则，诚实守信、守时。

家长需要身正为范。孩子都是跟家长学习的，不要随意地露出负面的情绪，不要在孩子面前脏话连篇。要积极引导。带他多运动，带他感受大自然。带他去好的老师那里学习。从小可习书法 习国画陶冶情操。
1要有耐心，不要和孩子太大脾气。2要和孩子讲道理，和他交心。多和同学的家长交流，吸取经验！还有就是某些事情得详细说...不能太笼统。只能这麽多了...
