一、 教材分析
（一） 教学目标
通过本课的教学，使学生对外国古代绘画的主要类别、发展概况、突出成就，以及不同民族绘画的主要特点有基本的了解，并领会各民族绘画形式的差异及其与审美观念的联系；能够比较、分析外国古代绘画重要作品的风格、特点及时代特征，认识到外国古代绘画的丰富多彩是世界文化多样性的生动体现。最终达到使学生开阔艺术视野，增长见识，陶冶情操、提高艺术素养和审美感知能力的目标。
（二） 内容结构
本课由以下四节组成：
第一节，简要介绍了人类最早的绘画——欧洲旧石器时代晚期的洞窟壁画，图示西班牙阿尔塔米拉洞窟壁画《野牛》，使学生对人类早期绘画的基本面貌有所了解。
第二节，对古埃及壁画的基本特征、独特的人物造型样式作简要介绍，图示《三个乐女》及《宴乐图》，并指出古代两河、爱琴海等地区的绘画与古埃及壁画的联系。图示《朝贡者》一画，使学生对此有所认识。
第三节，在本课所占比重最大。重点介绍了以下三方面内容：1.意大利文艺复兴盛期绘画；2.17世纪荷兰绘画；3.17、18世纪西班牙绘画；4.19世纪法国绘画。
第一部分，首先概述了古希腊、古罗马、中世纪绘画的特征，以便通过比较加深对文艺复兴绘画的认识。意大利文艺复兴绘画列举了波提切利、达·芬奇、拉斐尔的作品，着重分析了《草地上的圣母》。
第二部分，突出荷兰画派在风俗画、风景、静物画方面的成就，列举了维米尔的《倒牛奶的女仆》，使学生领会荷兰风俗画与静物画的特点，并图示风景画《埃克河边的磨坊》及伦勃朗、鲁本斯、哈尔斯的肖像画，引起学生对这几位大师艺术的关注。
第三部分，重点论述了西班牙绘画大师委拉斯凯兹和哥雅的艺术，分析了《纺织女》、《1808年5月3日的枪杀》两幅画的艺术特色，并辅以委拉斯凯兹的《大宫女》和哥雅的《自画像》、《着衣的玛哈》，使学生能加深对两位画家绘画艺术的认识。
第四部分，首先对19世纪法国绘画发展概况作了简要的介绍，使学生对其有宏观的把握；其次分析了德拉克洛瓦的《自由引导人民》和杜米埃的《三等车厢》，使学生通过比较，领会浪漫主义与现实主义绘画的差异，并图示达维特的《马拉之死》、安格尔的《泉》、莫奈的《印象·日出》、马奈的《草地上的午餐》等，以便学生领略19世纪法国绘画的不同风貌。。
第四节，其他地区的绘画，介绍了印度佛教石窟壁画和日本浮世绘版画，图示并分析了印度的《持莲花菩萨》和日本的《三美人图》两幅作品，使学生了解东方绘画的基本面貌和不同的民族特色。

本课教学的重点：通过对不同民族、不同时期、不同风格的绘画作品的分析、比较，使学生加深对外国古代绘画的了解，认识外国绘画的丰富性与多样性。
本课教学难点：领会古代不同民族绘画形式上的差异及其与现实生活、宗教、审美观念的联系。
二、教学内容资料
（一） 作品分析
野牛(阿尔塔米拉洞窟壁画，旧石器时代晚期，西班牙)
此画位于阿尔塔米拉洞窟的侧洞，即顶部绘有18头牛的“公牛大厅”。此画准确地表现了野牛的结构和动态，用线条描绘基本绘画轮廓，并加晕染，表明旧石器时代的欧洲先民已掌握了绘画的基本技法，能够表现具有写实风格的动物形象，体现了原始人独特的艺术表现力。画的线条是采用原始的毛笔勾勒的，色彩的表现是用平涂和喷绘（即口含颜料通过骨管吹到画面相应的部位，能产生浓淡变化，以表现出体积感）的方法。
三个乐女壁画，公元前1390年，绘于底比斯52号墓（ 阿蒙神祭司、王族纳克特墓中） 古埃及
这是反映古埃及人现实生活的壁画《宴乐图》的局部，描绘的是三个乐女演奏乐器的情形。画面左侧的乐女在弹竖琴，中间的裸体乐女正拨动诗琴，右侧的乐女吹双笛。乐女们的造型虽然依照埃及艺术独特的正面律的样式表现，但是仍生动地描绘出乐女们不同的动态、神情，突出少女身材的修长、优雅，彼此呼应，耐人寻味。乐女的肤色为黄褐色，与白色的裙子、深蓝色的头发及各式饰物相配，既对比鲜明，又和谐统一
