母主角 Kitty Softpaws 因为抓主人家的窗帘被拔除爪子，也就是Declawed，算是普遍的宠物手术，但是影片中一个桥段却让人觉得悲哀。在逃脱守护金蛋怪物的追赶下，由于 Softpaws 木有尖爪，刨不住地掉下悬崖。当然儿童片不会让她死的，电影安排英雄救美，有惊无险。让人反省的是，如果你的宠物接受了Declaw又因为种种原因不得不自食其力时，它已经丧失了上天赋予它的最大利器，要如何生存？
主角哥俩的身世背景在领养十分普遍的某些国家来说，应该又能激起同理心。究竟应该仇恨社会，还是在冷漠的世界里找到自己的归属？其实很简单，当你把自己当成客人的时候，那么每一个路人无心的一瞥都深深刺痛你过于敏感的卑微自尊心。思众所望，谋众所利的时候，恭喜你，已经潜移默化间超越了融入的层次。
还有爹妈经常教育的，所谓道要轧对，鸡蛋头忒坏了，连它自己都说，俺是烂（rotted)鸡蛋。
魔豆各种欢乐，仙境啊仙境，人制作功力没得说的好。
西班牙风也无处不在，提花瓷砖都不放过。
人物表情生动无比，鸡蛋头那壳上的小斑点粒粒可鉴，挤眉弄眼耍宝连连。猫咪胡须都还有新长的短须，地下酒吧暹罗猫烟囱小脸。贼公贼婆贼眉鼠眼，臃肿邋遢。
那些批评电影没内涵，挖苦人物的朋友们醒醒吧，抠着肚肠找哲学思想别跟儿童片过不去。这片挺成功的。
最亮眼的两个看点：鸡蛋头无处不在阴谋回放，最后被乌鸦提起拔地前那个“兄弟你被我玩牢”揶揄表情；猫酒吧有只猥琐花狸，捂嘴那个“哎哟，祸从口出哟~”小尴尬表情。
