教学是师生双边活动的一致和统一，现代教学理论早已阐明，在教学双边活动中教师是教学的主导、学生是学习的主体，而在教学实践中要真正做到发挥学生主体作用、体现学生的主体地位却并非易事，其中既有教学思想方面的问题、也有教学艺术方面的问题。本文从三方面谈谈自己的做法和体会。
一、要做到发挥学生的主体作用，必须在教学中发展学生的思维。
根据小学语文的性质、特点和教学目的，我比较注意把发展语言同发展思维结合起来，在教学中注意调动学生的多种感官，让他们动口、动脑、动手，使他们主动参与教学过程。

在课堂教学中，我比较重视学法指导，根据学生和教材实际由浅入深、及时点拨、渗透总结，通过学生的掌握，让学生形成自我获取知识的能力。以阅读教学为例，随着学生年龄的增长，我有意识地改变“学生跟着老师阅读”的做法，课前让学生明确阅读目的及用什么方法去学，学生明确了“主攻”方向，在阅读过程中就能积极主动地进击并一步步逼近“目标”。
三、要发挥学生的主体作用，教师必须改进教法。建立新型的师生关系。
重视发挥学生的主体作用，也不能忽视教师的主导作用，相反，为了更好地发挥学生的主体作用、更好地为教学主体服务，教师必须不断地改进教法，以自己的善教为学生善学树立榜样。同时，教师应设法建立一种互相尊重、平等合作的师生关系。以便通过师生的共同劳动来完成教学任务，为此，我注意吸引每一个学生投身于课堂教学之中，努力使他们成为学习的主人。学完每篇课文我总要问“学了这一课，你有什么收获？”给学生一个思考、交流的机会，鼓励学生充分发表自己的见解，从不同的角度去总结、分析不完善的地方，启发学生自己补充。对于有些内容，我有意识地让学生争论，从而形成师生协作、共同探索的局面。通过教学实践我深刻地感受到，学生主体地位的体现。需要教师付出不懈的努力，我认为只要教师在充分发挥自己的主导作用的同时充分注意发挥学生的主体作用，就能更好地提高课堂教学效率，达到既教书又育人的目的。
