Abstract\uff1aThis article introduced the drilling experience of using underground long reach treelike drilling along coal seams in Daning coalmine.The longest directional VLD hole reached 1005meters.The drilling technology for one thousand meter reach and extraction effects of gas were studied in this case.It was proved that the extraction effects by using the underground long reach treelike drilling along coal seams in Daning coalmine are satisfactory.The rate of extraction was about 49 percent after extraction of one and half year at the first mining areas and the recovery of coal gas will reach 70.35 percent.

煤矿井下煤层气（瓦斯）抽采，是利用煤层巷道，或从煤矿井下巷道中向煤层内钻孔，将正在采掘或准备采掘的煤层内的煤层气预先抽出并进行资源化利用，使巷道和采掘工作面的煤层气（瓦斯）浓度降低到安全标准以下，从而达到安全生产和煤层气利用的目的。
我国于1949年在抚顺龙凤矿开始正式进行瓦斯抽采工作，经过近60年的发展，有了较大的发展和提高，在矿井瓦斯抽采技术及方法上积累了许多经验。目前，我国矿井瓦斯抽采技术及方法主要有：
1）根据抽采对象分，有开采层瓦斯抽采、邻近层瓦斯抽采、围岩抽采以及采空区瓦斯抽采。
2）根据抽采方法不同可分为钻孔法抽采、巷道法抽采、混合法抽采、地面钻井抽采（地面垂直井和水平井抽放）。
