二、利用直观教具，培养学生兴趣：学习与生活密切相关，学生们在具体直观地教学过程中更容易理解和接受所学知识。课本插图、挂图、生物标本、模型、实物这些传统直观教学工具，对学生理解和掌握教学内容起着重要作用。随着硬件设施的不断更新变化，幻灯、投影、多媒体等现代化直观教学手段为教学提供了更加丰富多彩的感性材料。例如在讲到《开花和结果》这课中被子植物的双受精这个知识点时，因为内容很抽象，学生看不见摸不着，听了以后仍然一头雾水。于是我利用网上下载的被子植物的双受精动画图，让学生直观地看到被子植物双受精的整个过程，学生们看了热情高涨，直叹大自然的神奇和伟大。如果教师能灵活应用这些教学手段，创设生动活泼的教学情境，很容易调动学生的积极性，吸引学生的注意力，激发学生对学习的直接兴趣，从而提高课堂的教学效果。
三、联系实际生活，寻求学生兴趣：兴趣的基础是需要。激发培养学生的兴趣，未必能使学生的兴趣持久，现代社会处处离不开生物，作为初中生物教师，只有使学生认识到生物课在当前的学习和今后的实践运用中是必不可少的，是生活所需要的，学生的学习的兴趣才能自然流露出来，才会持久。例如在讲完《细菌和真菌的分布》那一节时，我利用多媒体出示2015年9月17日福建泉州一中学食堂发生食物中毒的真实案例，激发起了学生的兴趣，让他们利用本堂课所学的内容找出引起学生食物中毒的元凶到底是细菌还是真菌，由此学生感到学习生物在日常生活中是很有必要的，从而更加激发了学生学习生物的兴趣。
四、注重实验操作，激发学生兴趣：学生对生物的兴趣，不能仅仅停留在观察挂图和模型上，还需要培养学生动手操作的能力，在动手的同时学会动脑。循序渐进的培养学生做实验的能力，激发学生的兴趣。比如在学习《练习使用显微镜》时，我将学生带到实验室，分组学习显微镜的使用，在讲清各部分结构名称及作用的同时，让学生亲自操作怎样取镜、安放，怎样对光、调光，怎样观察、绘图。我则一边巡视一边指导，这堂课学生学得特别认真，做的特别仔细，而且学习兴趣高昂，整堂课的气氛轻松愉快。在讲《植物细胞》的这一节时，我把显微镜搬到了课堂，课前让学生自备洋葱，黄瓜等食物，让学生们以小组合作的形式认真的制作了各种植物细胞的临时装片，最后通过操作显微镜亲眼看到了自己制作的各种植物细胞，学生很有成就感。更重要的是通过这样的实验操作，既培养了学生的动手能力，又大大提高了学生对《植物细胞》这一节的领悟能力。课本中大多数的验证性实验，都将其提前与新课的讲授结合进行。这样的授课方式使学生的无意注意和有意注意相交替，在轻松愉快的气氛中学习，既不会感到疲劳，又充分掌握了知识，真可谓一举两得。增加实验，给学生尽可能多的动手机会。只要课时允许，生物课可增加的实验很多。我们要利用现有资源，给学生提供最高效的课堂，何乐而不为呢？
五、教学形式多样化，诱发学生兴趣：设计丰富多样的课堂形式，突出学生主体地位，把课堂活动化生动化，这些都能给生物教学带来无限生机。生物教学不能只是拘泥于固有形式，一板一眼，死记硬背。比如在讲《动物细胞》《开花和结果》这两节内容时，我让学生用橡皮泥自己动手制作动物细胞模型，自己用橡皮泥捏桃花的雄蕊和雌蕊，使生物课变成了一堂五彩缤纷的手工课；在讲解《血液的组成》那一节课时，我让学生分角色扮演血液的各组成部分：红细胞、白细胞、血小板、血浆，并让他们表演血液的各组成部分在我们生活中是如何发挥作用的，顿时生物课堂变成了一堂精彩的表演课；其实生物课堂还可以是一堂调查课，谈话课，辩论课等，甚至有时可以简单到只给学生看几段视频。总之，只要是能充分调动学生学习积极性的手段，都可以毫不保留的利用起来。
只有对生物学习产生了兴趣，学生才会去主动地掌握更多的生物知识，所以，培养学生学习生物的兴趣是很重要的工作。教师要引导学生从打基础开始，全面掌握生物知识，为以后奠定一个好的基础。
