每年霜降时，我们全家都要去磨盘柿之乡--房山大峪沟的柿子状元户家采摘磨盘柿。秋风吹起，漫山遍野的柿子像小红灯笼似的在和我们招手。它们三五成群地聚在一起，熟透了的柿子“啪、啪……”地掉在了地上，它们好像在用自己特有的方式来感谢大地的哺育。
金灿灿的柿子扁圆，柿子中间有一条沟痕，像系了一条腰带似的，整个外形酷似磨盘，因此得名“磨盘柿”。树上现摘的脆柿子是不能马上吃的，急于想立刻吃柿子的我不信，一口咬下去，结果被涩得说不出话来，逗得大人们哈哈大笑。
生柿子拿回家要“懒”一“懒”，我每天都去捏一捏，“懒”熟了的柿子握在手里软软的，只需轻轻撕掉一点皮，放在嘴边一吸，就会吸到比蜜还甜的红色汁水，从嘴角一直甜到心里。虽然爱吃，但是爸爸告诉我不能多吃，要不然胃会不舒服的。
柿子既能生吃，还能做成柿饼，营养丰富，还有较高的药用价值，我最爱磨盘柿。
