“不薄今人爱古人。”古代有观星术，现代有天文学。观星术就是根据天文学中天体运行的规律和周期来推演世间万物或人生命运的发展变化，其原理就是天地之间的气作为中介物质使得人和事物的发展变化与天体运行息息相关，也就是天人感应。当然观星术也不乏很多牵强附会的迷信成份在里面。
东方和西方玄学很大一部分都是建立在观星上得，只不过和你想象的有点差距。西方有名的星座就是最典型的代表，西方预测方面有星盘，就是你出生的那一刻天上的星星分布，来分析你的命运和东方的八字差不多。
东方也有预测的紫薇术，风水方面也是和观星有联系的。只不过这个观星大多数不是抬头望星星，而是赋予星星各种意象，比如紫薇星巨门廉贞什么，每个星星就像八卦一样有相应的意象， 比如紫微星为帝王星，但是却不实际管理太多事物，更多是精神领袖，制定指导思想，对人的性格特别善于揣摩 ，善于了解人心，人性，紫微更像一个精神导师，带给别人梦想和追求，对于人体是大脑，脑袋， 带给别人理想和信念。贪狼星是桃花星，武曲星是财星什么的。
所以你不需要抬头看星星。嗯，你只要记忆力好，死记硬背几个月后你就可以去小巷子里摆地摊了。但是说到抬头望星星的问题，前面有人说到一等地师看星斗的问题，嗯，的确，一等风水师的确看星斗，具体请想象下M的祖坟帝王穴"嫦娥奔月"。
古代的国家确实是比较信任这些国运的，但是我个人觉得没有办法看出来。
我认为未必吧，起码我不相信星座，我觉得关心不能看出一个人的命运，应该掌握在自我的手中。
