高效语文课堂是指在常态的语文课堂教学中，通过教师的引领和学生积极主动的学习思维过程，在一节课内高效率、高质量地完成教学任务、促进学生获得高效发展。如何提高语文课堂教学的高效性？本人结合自己的教学实践，谈以下几方面粗浅的看法：
一、有创新的教学模式
“有什么样的观念就有什么样的教育”。一个优秀的初中语文教师应该认识到自己的使命是：点燃学生学习语文的激情，帮助学生找到学好语文的方法，引导学生理解并相信语文应走在新课程改革前面，用新课程的教学思想、教学理念作指导，改进课堂教学方法，规范课堂教学行为，学生语文成绩才能真正提高。
二、激发兴趣，增强学生乐学的欲望
孔子说：“知之者，不如好之者。”朱熹说：“教人未见意趣，必不乐学。”叶圣陶在《语文教学十二韵》中强调“教亦多术矣，运用在乎人。”爱因斯坦说：“兴趣是最好的老师。”古今中外教育家都强调“兴趣”的重要性,以便使学生乐学。有了兴趣的激发,有了乐学的欲望,整个学习气氛自然会和谐、愉快起来，课堂的教学有效性当然会提高了。
作为语文教师，在课堂教学中应启发和激发学生的学习兴趣。教师应该怎样激发学生的学习兴趣呢？
1、用语文的重要性唤醒学生，培养学习语文的兴趣
一方面，知识有三层楼，最高一层是专业知识，第二层是一般文化科学知识，最低一层就是语文，这比喻非常形象生动，非常深刻，盖高楼大厦，先要打好基础……这明确指出了语文的基础性作用。生活处处皆语文，尤其是现代社会，高速发展，你无论走到哪里，都离不开语文知识。另一方面，现在的高考模式，也越来越重视语文，语文学科在高考中的权重也越来越突出，所谓“种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆”，不重视语文，必然会吃亏。明确了这一点，学生会从“学好数理化，走遍天下都不怕”的传统观念中清醒过来，有意识地培养自己学习语文的兴趣。
