Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.
Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair.
I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

感恩是每个人应有的基本道德准则，是做人的起码修养。鸦有反哺之义，羊有跪乳之恩。为什么有些人不会感恩，有些人不懂得感恩，更有一些人不愿意感恩。因为他们从来就没有爱的感情基础。那些不懂得知恩图报、反而忘恩负义的人必定是遭人唾骂的无耻小人。
感恩是人性善的反映，感恩是一种生活态度，是一种美德，是一片肺腑之言。如果人与人之间缺乏感恩之心，必然导致人际关系的冷漠。所以我们每个人都应该学会感恩，感谢父母的养育之恩，感谢老师的教诲之恩，感激同学的帮助之恩，感激社会的关爱之恩。
学会感恩，就是要学会懂得尊重他人，对他人的帮助时时怀有感激之心。
学会感恩，就是要让你知道每个人都在享受着别人通过付出给自己带来的快乐。
学会感恩首先要拥有一颗感恩的心。一个人只要懂得感恩，才会懂得付出，懂得付出后，才能获得感恩。
没有阳光就没有日子的温暖；没有雨露就没有五谷的丰登；没有父母就没有我们自己。没有亲情和友情的世界就会是一片孤独和黑暗。
