Pingdingshan No.1 Senior Middle School, established in 1961, stands as a prominent key institution in the city, known as one of the pioneering beacon schools recognized by the city. Holding a unique privilege, it admits 'Hongzhi' students from across the province, setting it apart in the educational landscape.
Boasting a current enrollment of over 4,000 students across 60 classes, the school boasts a faculty of more than 234 members.
