This paper is the salicyl aldehyde and chitosan on the existence of C_2 reactive amino groups by Shcffi condensation reaction, with special adsorption of heavy metal ions on chitosan salicylaldehyde modified SCTS was synthesized, and studied the static adsorption properties of biopolymer SCTS of copper ion. In experiments using orthogonal experimental method, results show that the optimum reaction conditions, SCTS: acidity pH value is 5, molar ratio of reactants was 5:1, reaction time is 6 hours, reaction temperature 80 C, the DS is 57.2%, the adsorption capacity was 0.473mg/g, the removal rate of copper ion 50.7%.
